Longawaited Pics

FINALLY !! I've uploaded the long awaited Paintball Skirmish pictures -__-" I had the pic in my hardisk for 1 month+ now and the reason I didn't upload it was because one picture was huge because my friend took it with this bigass camera , and you photographers know that one picture file is huge. So I uploaded it in facebook and took the pics off facebook , smart! Anyway here are the pics and yes its 1 month ago and my hair was turning to a jungle.

anyway it was pretty fun and a good experience, first time I've played paintball and man it does hurt! Some dumb people don't know the rules of 'Raise your hand, surrender.... Don't shoot' Funny how you raise your hand high high and bullets still come aiming at you -.- pride, race, blood, hairs, color and sweats were all at stake but in the end MY team emerged victorious wahhaha.

after paintball we went to surfers for Baskin Robins and Bubble tea, its like a tradition nowadays, after every event we would just go baskin robins and get cheap ice cream haha,.

and of course going out , there always has to be a time to be vain and take pics.....

speaking of which I cut my hair already and let's just say its back to Black hair, no color at all and surprisingly people didn 't know black was my natural hair color haha. That's how long I had colored hair for T.T It's shorter now and more 'goodboy' looking right? that's what everyone commented anyway, not looking like 'ah beng' anymore. Personally I think this is more Korean hair style ay? 2 more assignments to go!

Looking back

I was just looking back at the past and I can't help chuckle on some of the things that we used to do

1.) Before the Internet and Mobile Phones we would call each other with our house phone. Not only that but it was one of the best way to 'Kao' a girl and I bet everyone has done this before.

2.) When the internet came up ,MIRC and ICQ were the in-thing. You can find anyone virtually from anywhere in the world, and I found lots of my old friends from primary school through MIRC. But the funny thing was the era where everyone just clicked on someone randomly and went 'ASL?' 'ASL?' (age/sex/location) and you can make your details up.. 24/F/Alaska , waaaa you're from alaska? cool! do you have any pic?

3.) 90' s was the era I think of Michael Jackson , almost everyone LOVED Michael Jackson, I still have a video of him perfoming live in Jerudong Park. Oh and not to forget pop bands /boybans like Backstreetboys, Westlife, Boyzone, 911, MLTR, Spice Girls , B*Witched....

3.5.) I forgot to metion that I used to play the song that my crush likes whenever I'm talking on the phone with her , because thats how crazy we were liking boybands!!

4.) Remember the times when people would wear baggy cargo pants and shirts that are super huge?

5.) Oh I loved captain planet, TMNT, Ultraman, Dragon Ball (sadly the western part of the world are only now into Dragonball when we were already in it in 1990, and now they're making a dragonball Z movie which is going to be a disgrace to the anime) GOGO POWER RANGERS!!!!

Being a blessing to one another

It's funny how Ps.Lance was preaching about being a blessing to one another last week and being considerate and loving one another this week. He was basically sharing on how we have to respect one another, submit, be considerate, not slandering, judging one another, etcetc. No matter who or what the person is they are still valuable to our sight because God loves them as well. I took down so many notes and theres so much to share but I just don't have the time now as I have exams tomorrow but I'll leave some quotes down to let you guys think about =)

Speaking of which I received my IELTS Result last week and I needed a 7/9 IF I wanted to migrate to Aus. Funny thing was, it was such an important test and I didn't even bother studying at all , except for the last 20 minutes before the Test starts. Cut long story short I got 8/9 !!! woot!! I was so happy I managed to get my high school's teacher email and just sent her a thank you email for her guidance and stuff like that and this was her reply. Of course I cut some other stuff due to some confidental info. =P

I just finished my two exams and one more to go!! (and yes I'll finally upload some of the wedding, bucks night and paintball pics) Stop procrastinating Jason!!!

I just finished my conference and convention management exam today and guess what? There was a point when I didn't understand the question at all, so I was repeating the questions through my head "Who builds the majority of the convention centres in Australia?" "Who builds the majority of the convention centres in Australia?" "Who builds the maj.........ZZzzzZZzzz" and I had like 30sec powernap if I was not mistaken. I basically did that about 4 times. tell me why??? I had 7.5 hours of sleep, ate a lot, drank Coke ate Vitamin C and was still tired till I my brain can shutdown during the exam? -___-

Relationships

wow wow wow I mean just wow! Had shepherding with Ps Lance and I think it was the first shepherding I had with him since a year ago and it was great for Lance to come over and shepherd us when Fabian was away but I just want to blog and share about this thing that Ps lance shared with us boys. I'll try to remember what he shared because it was over dinner and because I was so into the discussion that I forgot all about my note book and pen -_-

So how do we know its the right person?

• One of them is how do they react to people above authority e.g. their shepherds and pastors because when you get married , men are the leaders of the house and therefore this shows how they react to people above authority
  
• how do they treat/react to people under authority ? e.g. their sheep, new members
  why? because this shows how she would treat her children
  
• Are they humble?
  
• Are they growing spiritually? and this one really hits me because if you're growing and she's not then in the future she may be something that might hinder you from growing because you have to slow down to her pace, then again if they're growing to fast and you're far behind then you'll probably not ready/ or not the one for her.
  
  There was one example given , this UK missionary went to this place to do missions and he told his wife 'Don't come with me, stay back in the UK and I'll love and care you from there' why'd he say that? because he knew this wife couldn' take it and would slow his work down. might be a little extreme of an example but you get the point
  
• this is another one that hits me... Do they have a vision/goal/ AND what is YOUR vision and goal. It's funny because God has give the command to Adam to be fruitful and multiply Before Eve was even there haha. I was like wow! I never noticed that. God has given Adam a vision, a vision to be fruitful and multiply but wheres Eve? In the end God did gave Adam Eve to help him with the vision, which points to the area that your partner will compliment with you ( not necessarily have the same vision) but he/she will help and support you in your vision for both parties.
  
• Confidence and security - Where does your partner's security come from? Do they come to you first or God? Which is the point I already had in mind long time ago as well =) I don't like girls who are 'manja' or go I want this I want that, no call or msg a day and the girl will feel like the end of the world -_-
  

Another point is for us guys is that we have to know our vision/goal and the ability to lead, girls likes guys who takes charge and is a leader. If you can't lead her , then you can't lead the family. and girls don't get the wrong idea lol because guys are taught to love their wives as their own body , He who loves his wife loves himself =) eph 5:28

There's a good point on spearfishing but I can't really remember well what is it about again -_- but the point goes something like waiting patiently and once you know exactly sure which fish it is after observing and slowly following it . There's a satisfaction and sense of achievement once u catch it because you'll know for sure thats the one you're gonna devote your life to. Rather than blindly fishing, thinking its the right one but then its not because you didn't spend time to observe the fish. gah, I can't remember well but it's something like that la. I know I have fish brains =x

anyway these are the little things that were said, Im sure theres more but my brain can't think anymore because of the upcoming mid terms =.=

I was thinking next year when I start working, I'm going to start fishing
...........but then after the lesson and looking at where I'm at now........ maybe a bit later not so soon lol.

sorry if theres no update, I know I currently owe two posts which is the wedding and paintball skirmish. I'll do that once I find the time because right now I'm feeling the pressure of exams, mid term is exactly one week away and I just started on it. and I have been giving in to the temptations of my friends asking me to go out and eat and eat and eat. I had another all you can eat sushi which was awesome, no not really.......forgive me Lord for I have sinned, Gluttony lol, not good. anyway yea basically been eating out a lot and always procrastinating on studying which is something I have to work on =.=

Yea! I was working yesterday at a Supermarket Conference of 5000 people and during the opening ceremony they invited Austarlia's very own Delta Goodrem!!! How cool is that?? =)
No I didn't get any pictures because my boss would kill me if I was caught taking pics (wish I could tho) man she's looks sooo pretty in real life! some jokers on the table went 'YOU'RE SO HOT I LOVE YOU!!" hahaha ..... okay I admit I don't know her, when she was performing I went 'whodat?' , but ehhh at least I know her songs okay.....

Olympic Fever

I don't really enjoy watching the Olympic on TV. Why? Because the australian commentators are biased and most of the time on TV you would just watch the australians competing. The only time they would show the others if it is the Finals or something. They even had to repeat the australian games , why not show some other live game??

Take for example I was watching a replay of USA vs Greece basketball game, I watched the 2nd quarter and the during half time they switched to swimming. Fair enough because we're waiting for the 3rd quarter to start. But no... they suddenly switched to aus vs south africa hockey game and I was thinking to myself, hmmm the halftime break wasn't that long if I remember correctly. I was right, the b.ball game started on the 4th quarter and I missed the 3rd quarter. How could you enjoy watching the game?

I was at my friends house watching the gymnastics final and China won and one of them china guys was biting on the Gold. I was curious and asked them 'Why do they bite the medal for?' -__-

No one knew and I came out with the answer

"They probably wanted to check if the Gold was made in China" HAHAHA

It's 3rd week of Uni and I haven't been studying wooopeedooo, been out eating out a lot and my cash has been draining like water =(

I got called today by my boss saying that she thinks I'm capable and so she promoted me to corporate for my job tonight. Remember I used to work in the snack bar? Now im working at a higher level haha. My friends worked 2-3 times and never got it but this was my second time only working in that job and I got promoted just like that. Praise God for His favor on me! Except I worked only a lousy 3 hours today =(

Funny thing happened
I went to the youth service with my mates and Leo cos I just so happened to be in Brisbane.
Firstly Yes, I admit and I know I'm not a good singer and I'm not good at it.
Cos wat happened was after the service Leo said during worship he was asking God 'God why do you have to place a person who can't sing beside me' and then he said God gave the answer 'you wanna get a slap is it?' (or sumtin like tat) and then my housemate laughed because he had the same thing, except it was few weeks before and he added 'His singing for Me not for you' lol. Because every morning I would worship God in my QT and get into it and somehow just dont care if ppl wud hear or not, Turns out that I'm the alarm clock.

anyway God was protectin me so that was cool. But I can't understand why people would even think about those stuffs during worship, I mean when you're worshipping all you think about is you and God, and want to be in His presence ..why worry about people around you how they sing, or what they're doing? -__-

and lastly forgive me if my update and grammar structure is bad because I just got back from work and I'm tired due to lack of sleep, nite!

1st of of Uni so far

1st week of uni so far felt like im still on holiday mode. I went to class 3 times this week and that's it. The past 7 days has been partying , really partying, not the clubbing party but still party, it was my housemate's 21st and we had a huge bday bash at our place, man the africans can dance and knows how to partayyy!! 2 days later was my friends graduation and we had another after party, correction african party lol. 3 days later there was my ex-housemate engangement party and my Pastors bday as well, crazyy!!

Today I went to play ball and my friend invited me for dinner to thank me for participating on her project by giving out my precious priceless blood for experiment. to show her appreciation I was treated to an ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI for only $17.50!!! no wait $ 8.75 ( she paid half of the bill) and we had like $100++ worth of sushi hahaha. how cool is that??? not so cool, I was brought back to my senses right after. I'm actually making sure how much I should be eating T.T little did I know I came back with about 3kg in my tummy.

Honestly though I think this final year I've been spending quite a lot, 2 friends coming over to GC to visit and I have to spend more just to hang out, friends bday = more cash, school fee= more cash, been out eating rather than staying home eating = more cash but hey I just got my pay 2 days ago and I'm happy with it hoho =D

Back to uni

Jeng jeng jeng Can't believe its been a month and this holiday has been draggy , felt like it has been 3 months but Thank God I managed to get a job haha. Winter break has been fun, Finally its 11 degrees and all, I know melb and NZ ppl are all telling me 'Its not Cold!' but I don't stay where you come from so its cold for me haha XD Last 3 subjects, last semester and I'll be finally done with Uni life and on to working world! I'm still kinda lost on what Job to do right after I graduate because Working in Events as a banquet staffs is hard work and you don't have any life seriously, 14-16 hours a day? No time to find a gf and If I do get a job I'll prob stay single for the rest of my life. that's not good is it! In addition my dad wants me to get PR and I don't have enough points to get a PR so my next choice is either a Temporary Resident or study something else in Tafe so I can get more points. Study again?? Im not sure, should I? Its like a short course where I can choose watever I want to do like hairdressing, cookery, bakery n stuffs. Study again? I'm not really sure.

Other than that Life has been great altough I had my share of ups and downs but God is faithful and God has just been doing so many great things in my life and the church there's just to much to type here haha. Let's just say this is the beginning and the best has yet to come ;)

Job part 2

Im burned out! now this is what I call a proper job!

I finally got a shift to work in Conrad Jupiters, one of the top hotels in Gold Coast with Casino. My eyes are now opened to how the hotel works and I must say the management and everything is more hectic than I thought it would be. Different departments has their own duties, but all has to work together as a team with other department or else the hotel would fall apart.

Woke up at 4.30am and had to reach the hotel at 5.30am, greeattt. Next day shift was 7am so that was a bit better

I was assigned to Event Staff, basically doing banquets, serving food, going to guests smiling "would you like any Coffee or Tea :D" for a room of 1000 people waaa I've never done banquet and its scary cos u have to carry this huge jacktray and its super heavy, I still don't know how it works except that my back is going to hurt soon. I made one mistake though, as I was clearing the customers food, I dropped the knife and fork on the guests back and I think he was pretty annoyed. I mean c-mon it IS a 5 star hotel. Wat am I a 1 star waiter doing here haha.

Oh I had to serve coffee and tea and believe me it's not easy, my fingers were numb even after the first round. I even had trouble pouring coffee on the guests cup while trying to balance the tea on the other hand. One of the guests went

'Is this your first time?'

'Yes maam'

'It's pretty challenging ey'

'yea'

'no worries, you're doing a good job'

phew...

The next day shift was the same thing except I had to serve food this time and I got told off twice by the cranky captain *sigh* one of them was because I cleared the cups on the tray but then I had only a few cups and then the captain went 'I don't want to see you come out with this little cups on your tray." crap. this was because I was scared that I'll topple the tray and the cups when im trying to pick the cups on the table. anyhow I had to carry and clear the WHOLE huge room of table, chairs, plates and stuffs , and what I can say is for those who said I'm slim you're wrong, this is my Gym, I've built muscles from the result of carrying these heavy things. Like Spiderman , skinny the first day the next day muscular hahaha.

The best part of the job?

• Free buffet at the cafeteria

One thing I learnt though, you really have no life working in the hotel, you'll be a workaholic. At least 16 hours a day- 80 hours of work a week. No way Im doing that, I wont even have time for church and IF I had a family I won't have the time to be with them because most of the time you'll be in the hotel .

First Job

Yay!! It was my first job today!! ^^ I've been jobless for 2months+ now and it is refreshing to work again. My agent called me and asked me to meet at 2.30pm not knowing where the place was I left and arrived at 1pm. After waiting for one and a half hour under the Hot Sun, my agent told me that I'll start work at 4pm instead and I'll be working in the snack bar!!!

Initially I was supposed to fry the chips , fish and chicken but I was moved to scooping the fries and serve the fries in a cup + doing the same thing with the fish and hot dogs. Basically something you would do in McDonalds -.- But it was quite fun it was a breather to not talk to the customers but work behind the scene for once.

OH! and I was working in the stadium because there was a special function, RUGBY!!! GO GOLD COAST TITANS! Its like the normal NBA, NHL, NFL game in the States, a normal soccer match game in Malaysia and...........errr Michael Jackson performnig in Jerudong Park, Brunei.

It was my first ever live Rugby game and during my 30min break I was so lucky to watch the Titans score and even caught it on video! How cool is that??
Too bad I didn't bring my camera , fortunately I had my trusty LG Viewty keke

Boo winter

Man Winter is almost over and I'm kinda disappointed, the weather wasn't as cold as last years, with the exception of it being very cold for 3 days. other than that was just the weather being cool, gloomy and raining for no reason. Today the weather was super Hot! felt like summer for a minute there.

Went for RSA (reponsible service alcohol) training yesterday and it was boring just sitting there for a 4 hour lecture about the laws and regulations, and man who would have thought that working in a bar would have lots of responsiblities, one small mistake of suppling or serving drinks to a minor you'll get on the spot $225 fine. -.- thank Goodness Im a waiter and dont work in a bar but its a requirement for me to do that course so yea , sat down 4 hour lecture then did the exam which we can copy from our workbook and friend lol. funny

oh yea results came out a week ago. I've got 2 C and 1 P dang it. Financial Control exam was really tough for me because I could only do 1.5 out of 5 questions confidently and honestly the rest was just crapping because the stuffs I studied didn't come out at ALL! So I was expecting maybe fail (choi!!) or Pass . But miraculously I got a C (credit) and for service ops I was expecting a C got a P -___- what is this.... zzzz


I know the reason I'm gettin F-A-T now. It's my housemate who works in KFCtatbringshome2bigbagsofKFC that is causing it T.T

yay a job!

finally got a job!! It took me about 3 weeks but really Praise God He provided me with this job. Been praying and praying but even though nothing happened I know God is my provider. If I can trust Him for my salvation which is the Biggest of all, how could I not trust Him for the little things? That was what kept me going, to persevere and believing for the job. I even had one friend coming pointed and laughed at me ' haha no job yet' yet I keep believing and on Monday I was praying again but this time was different. I did pray but this time I really seek God , asking no answer nevermind , but I'll keep seeking and knocking and then the holy spirit went 'pray for a call after this prayer' I was so desperate I didn't doubt and prayed for this miracle to happen. After prayer I went online to look for jobs again and as I was searching this guy called me and asked if I was available for an interview!!! woot! Praise God!! Actually not one call but two calls!! I had another call later, I applied for F&B Attendant and the other position I was so desperate I even applied for this ad I saw 'Models, Extra Actors needed' HAHA

Unfortunately I think I'll pass the Model/actor work because I dont think I'll have the time and I found out I have to pay $160 to set up my own personal site and take professional photographs for marketing purpose. If I didn't get the hospitality job I might have taken this job but its cool.

I just got back from the interview and training and I passed em' all so I'm ready to work next week =D You know how secret agents get calls from their boss and asked them to do missions? e.g Charlie Angels?
Well I'm doing the same thing, except its Serving Food so if there's any job available the client will call the agency and then the agency will contact me to go do my 'mission'. hooya! Im so excited!

other than that Linda came to Gold Coast for holidays, hung out with her for a day and thx for the Floor-flavored ice cream haha. Don't worry bout the pics, purposely didn't take so you can come over next time when It's sunny and we can take photos lol! It's winter and I had like 4 days of steamboat in 2 weeks already, how cool is that! ok not so cool... the ingredients costs a lot -___-

The stand

This holiday hasn't been one of the best, decided to not go back to Malaysia and Brunei because I was hoping to apply for a job and work during the hols but unfortunately no calls yet, and I got rejected twice from the hotels I applied. Oh man I really need this job, I've been spending a lot going out to eat and shopping again. I decided to chill with my friends because they wanted to go shopping but in the end I bought a $89 coat. This baby caught my eye and I just Had to buy it! haha.

Besides that the highlight from last week has got to be the church conference I went to. Honestly, I didn't felt like going, but something in me went 'just go, and have faith and believe something great to happen' the other half went 'just go if not ppl wud just keep asking why dont you wanna go' ...... at the end of the day I had only one choice which was to go hahaha.

Boy was I glad I attended the conference. I bet everyone encountered God in a powerful way just as I did. No one left unchanged, but challenged and transformed. I was encouraged to read what God has done to the people who attented the conf and what God has spoke to them. awesone stuffs guys! The topic can never be so timely.... a community church and I believe its in season not only for the church but for myself.

My character has been lousy lately, my attitude stinks and I'm so glad got corrected and challenged me to change these things in my life. If I don't change, If I don't renew my mind then I'm going to cause a lot of problems in the community. Funny thing is before the conference, I was challenged by God to rise up, to take that call to lead my Life group, especially the guys group which is kind of weak at the moment, and I asked God "what do you want to see in this Life Group?' and one of the thing God put in my heart was the friendship, tangible relationships and bonding with one another, funny enough the conference was about community ey? Actually I've been frustarted with my Life Group not moving forward, not growing, frust at myself that I'm not doing a better job cos I know I can do better but instead of correcting or scolding me.

Went for altar call and this guy who didn't even know me prayed for me, and God used him to speak to me. One thing was that God knows the dissastisfcation in my heart, He also has a part to play in it, I was also beggining to doubt my calling but God just encouraged me to not look at what I don't have but He will fill those things that I don't have. He has heard my cry and will continue to mould and shape me. This was all I was felling before the conference!!! and this guy who didn't even know me prayed and spoke these encouragement for me after all that i've been thru. Indeed I have some self-image problem and this guy even knew but he said that God is beginning to chip-away those things...Praise God! Came back with a renewed passion and vision for the life group and church and I can't wait to see what God is going to do esp in my life group. I know it'll take time but it's going to be worth it..
