so what has been happening?

I guess I owe my readers an explanation for the lack of updates. It's not that I have no inspiration or have been busy playing video games bur rather been hit with an intesive course of four classes and 2 assignments all jam packed in 1.5weeks. I've started my new course in Masters of Teaching: Secondary Education and have already embarked on a new journey of becoming what I've always wanted to do, which is to be a teacher. I must say that I've already learnt a lot in my 4 days of intensive class compared to my 3 years in getting my Bachelor of Business.

It's interesting to learn about different philosophies in teaching from Gandhi, Friere, Bell Hooks and many other greats to develop your own philosophy for teaching. I still have a lot to learn and thank God for teachers in my church that can help me :P *coughs*

I know that this blog has been mainly on my reflections and revelations from God that can encourage others. I was thinking of creating another one on Education and Teaching. I think this course has tapped into something that was dormant in me for awhile and now has come alive. Never in my life I've enjoyed doing assignments, studying and learning. (could be because of my awesome lecturer). Neverthless I'm pumped, stoked and ready to be on this journey of becoming Great Teacher Jason! GTJ!! (ok lame I know -_-" )

The mediocre teacher tells, the good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. - William Arthur Ward

I want to inspire by believing in the kids, giving hope and power to those who does not. Believing in all they can do and be, letting go of what others tell about them....

This post actually reminded me of my younger sister just last night. She is currently an Art major at college here in Erie however she is taking a Pysch class and is just as entertained as you have just described. As I was driving her home for my parents last night I heard all about everything she learned and it made me realize that she is so much brighter than she thinks she is. Sometimes it just takes another to open that window of opertunity. Praying for you and your classes.
