Long awaited pics

My friend from Malaysia/Japan visited me 2 weeks ago and brought her to Movieworld. My first year in Australia went to Movieworld, 2nd year in Australia..... Movieworld again. This year ......Movieworld AGAIN!! (oh joy!) ....I tried persuading my friend to go dreamworld or wetworld but alas, she wanted Shrek and Batman. I wanted hardcore rides XP No more Movieworld for me next year and I mean it lol.

not updating as much

Easter is coming and my birthday is on the 23rd of Sunday how cool is that XD

haha okay, so I haven't been updating as much I guess it's just be being lazy updating, heck I don't even have time to go check other people's blog, I come home late night eat, then play Dota, and after Dota its like Sleeping time!!! so there goes my time for updating XD

so here's a summary of what Happened.........

Friend from Japan visited me for 5 days so had to bring her around and went to
1.) Movie World
2.) Surfers Paradise
3.) Casino .. I played bacarat but luckily didn't win or lose phew!! you know how it's like when you win and you wanna win just some more then a littttlee more then next thing you know your money fly away just like that.

went Ice skating the week after and then laser skirmish

the other reason why I didn't update is because I haven't got my pics yet so I managed to get just the laser skirmish, here it is!

btw I know some of you might say Paintball is wayyy better, heck ya its way better but laser skirmish is just as fun, trust me =)

oh and our team won best out of 5 match, of course my team would win cos got the captain *cough* me =D

Bad day

I was hit by a bus once. and Yesterday the same thing happened. Its stupid how you're walking on the pavement and as the bus was driving, it just turns and the front of the bus would go into the pavement and hit you. yea so I got hit by a bus, that was okay.
Then on the top of the bus wrote '3- Southport' which was where I wanted to go, So i went in the bus and even told a lady behind me where the bus was going cos I was being helpful not kepo okay. Anyway the bus went on the opposite direction and went the other route instead so instead of going west it went east. ARGHHH!! Had to walk back to Uni again to catch the next bus T_T


other than that I got a free dye on my hair because my friend whose doing hairdressing decided to dye my hair as a bday gift cool huh ! ONE MORE WEEK!!!

Uni starting!

Okay so not much has happened I think, other than Uni's gonna be starting tomorrow and I only have classes on tuesdays and fridays, how cool is that? I don't really know what to do yet, but im gonna try find a job that allows me to work in the morning instead. So i can quit my thai restaurant job that pays me crap money. Oh an dmy friend from is gonna visit me from Malaysia/Japan so there goes my hard earned cash =(

Im so not looking forward to uni now, I mean I have and was excited but after checking the course outline today, and the assignments that I have to do..........die lo

Life so far...

HAPPY SINGLE AWARENESS or Valentines =P DAY TO Y'ALL OUT THERE!!!

Life so far has been great, well not really, just busy. I only get to have one day rest since I got back then the day after I had to help out with the Valentine's day event we had, which I will post the pics some time next week hopefully. Did I mention I spent AUS$300 in just 2 days?? Getting myself food for the summer season, buying a new printer and just going out to eat because I'm just so lazy to cook. MANNA KOREAN BBQ RESTAURANT I LOVE YOU!!!

Other than that I'm back to that crappy Thai Restaurant again. The boss called me and asked if I wanted to work, cos she needed people again. So I just got back from work and I'm dead tired, which reminds me why I didn't want to work there in the first place, but what to do? I need the cash badly. I'm gonna work there for about 2 months then I'll quit and get a job in a hotel or something. That place is dam far, dam dirty (cockroaches in the Kitchen?? c-mon!), ppl very kiam-siap. arghhhh, at least I get to eat good thai food again keke.

Back in Goldcoast

Woot! I'm back in the Gold Coast and I was hoping I could relax more but after just one day rest who knows I have already lots of things to do. Me and the guys have lots of Valentine's day preparation to do. Don't wanna get into details yet but its heck a lot of work but definately rewarding I think. (I learnt how to make flowers with tissue paper!)

Anyhow coming back to the Coast was a bit of a problem at the airport in Brunei.
1.) The screw in my specs came off just 5 min before I left the house, Couldn't find it so had to go to the shop and get one, thank God that the shops were open.

2.) Max 30 kg. I went over by just 4kg and I had to pay was it $355 or 655 i couldn't rememeber but what the heck either one still a lot of money to pay

3.) I booked my flight early and I found out I was upgraded to BUSINESS CLASS!!!! woot! hahaha. Ok I might sound sakai abit but I've never eeevvvverrrr been on a business class so this is my first. After all the trouble I can finall relax. Of course they treated me like a superstar, cooking me good food, getting my own personal TV, and big nice comfy seet after all that trouble hohoho.

Bye Brunei

My last night in Brunei and to be honest I'm really happy and I can't wait to go back to Gold Coast, not that I don't like Brunei or anything haha. It's just that I have things to settle and do back there and I can't wait to go back and get my hands on deck.

Coming back to Brunei has been fun, meeting up with 'old' friends and new ones, chilling and the usual go to the mall, eat, watch movie, RF thing, 29nerz and SG (sexay group.... haha jk) , Banana our lunch time dunno where to go and eat thing haha, we so blur =.= the beach and of course the food! =) Miss you guys loads and I definately had a lot of fun!

I might/might not see you guys again after today so.......... BLARGHH! don't wanna think about it right now haha. Keep in touch !

Okay before you say anything It's not animal cruelty!! The cat is just ............dumb. Seriously, he was lying there seeking attention while we were working and so we decided to bury him under the sand, and pile him with bricks while he was lying down. Honestly the cat was PuuurRRrring , He loved it!!!! (and it was all my pastors idea =.=)

Mission trip - Part 2

Okay okay, my fault again. I uploaded the pics halfway and left it there for many days not touching it =.= gah I got to stop procrastinating! But I guess it was a good thing that I did, I just watch Rambo 4 today. And if you've seen it then I can tell the things you see is exactly what the Karen people has experienced, and it's all true. Some has lost their families, some has lost their friends and kids as young as 4 don't even know who their parents are.

This is the main part of the mission trip is to the Refugee camp where the Karen people are staying. They are the people who has crossed from burma to Thailand. You can imagine the stuffs these people has been through, the killing, shooting, running for cover and more killings. But going to this camp, God has opened my eyes to a whole new world.

So we were just gonna go to the refugee camp to help them with the teaching in schools and hold one sunday service but the leader of the Karen told us he wants to have a Revival Meeting!! How cool is that??? Now that was exciting because this will be the first revival meeting we’re gonna have and the pastor said all of us in the team has to either preach or share a testimony. (I preached =P) We had services for three straight days, from morning till late nite!

The place is very high up the mountain.

If you read the top right corner it reads Noah's group Christian School, its a school where the organization we went with set up this school. To give them education and bible teaching.

As you can see from the picture that these people had a heart to worship God. We had about 800 people and apparently the meeting place has not been as full for many years. Just the way they worship has already touched and encouraged me to worship God even more. They worshipped as passionately, children as young as 3-4 years old were in tears as they worshipped God with all their hearts. These are the worship leaders.

The people there were also really hungry for more of God. Hungry for His presence and Hungry for His Word. We even had one altar call session where the stage was so full that the stage BROKE!! When the stage broke the people just stood there looked at each other for awhile and then went back and worship God, waiting to be prayed for.LOL!! (I have the video but I have to go back Aus and get it and prob post it on youtube hehe)If you look at the pic, you can tell this guy a bit siao siao, his actually an animist that was possessed by the devil. Amazing how he just came in after our service and started talking to us. We prayed for him, he got delivered and he came to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior! We also saw many people rededicated their lives to the Lord again. Hallelujah! On the final night we had a healing service where we saw about 50 miracles!!! It’s the most I’ve seen in my life and Praise God that He healed many people. We saw one person with burns on his skin got healed, after we prayed the burn wasn’t there anymore, we had a guy with his hip problems who couldn’t walk properly be able to walk again, many head and chest pains healed, eye diseases healed ,kidney problems, throat problems but the most amazing was a mute and deaf guy healed! (that picture above) When the crowd heard that this person who was mute TALK they went crazy because they knew that this was God healing them. Oh also the most amazing thing was the guy told us that we were the first team that didn’t get sick!! All the other mission teams that got here had at least 1-2 person that got sick but we were the first that didn’t . We made History haha. The healing was caught on video as well gonna get hold of that vid when i get back!)

The kids here, they're just so lovely and adorable!! I still dream of them, wanting to go back again. These kids and the Karen people stole part of my heart =(

The principal of the school with his grandchildren, BUT that's not all , apparently he has 22 grandchildren @_@This is the pastor and leader of the Karen people, thank God for this man of God who really wants to see Hope to be put back in the Karen people and see a generation of leaders to rise up that will impact the world once they are able to get out. He was the one that asked for the revival meeting.

Urm..... polluting their culture HAHA.

These are just the STUDENTS in the school, not the people who attented the services. wow so many people!

One thing God is teaching me here in this trip was to trust in Him more and perseverance, as we all had to get out of our comfort zone to pray for the people, preach, share our testimony. Because I know Jason can’t do anything but it’s God that is working in me that will do it. During this trip God has opened my eyes to a whole new world. Here we are comfortable sitting down on our couches and watching TV, complaining that we don’t have and iPod or why our PC are lousy , complaining about the food we’re having.

But these people have no such thing, living up on the mountains with dirty water and limited food, they lost their families, friends, driven out of their country And all the stuffs they've been through (watch rambo 4) . In a way they are trap in this 'big prison' and it's very hard for them to get a visa and leave.

But you know what? As you can see from the pictures they are happy, even with there stuffs they've been through, all in all they are still happy because they know they have a living God whos living in them, one that they can trust to have a hope and a future, to be able to set them free, to know that God is their refuge , strength and their shelter, that they can hide in the shadow of His wings.

I've learnt a lot from this trip, here I am wanting to be a blessing to them but instead I got blessed through this trip and experiences. And again they stole my heart and part of my heart is with the Karen people.
