im backkk

im back from melbourne! im back to blogging again!! sorry for the lack of updates as the moment I returned from melb I had to turn myself into nerd mode and started studying for my mid-terms.

Melbourne was fun! Honestly the food there is way cheaper and more yum yum than the one back in gold coast, its more authentic, cos they cook it to fit the asian people taste unlike here trying to fit the Ang mo taste. the convention was awesome as well! y'all missed out man, its about a prophetic church and we had prophets coming in, shud hav been there to experience the power of God move during that time, it was just so awesome! also it was good to see my old friends back in melb and met new ones as well =)

besides that I dont know why but for the past 2 days my uni day has been crap. I haven't felt like this in many many months

thursday- My Jap listening test sucked big time, I couldnt remember what I've learnt and suddenly during the test my mind just went !BLANK! *sigh* hopefully at least can pass that. n let me tell u in advance, its not an easy subject, and i was just down the whole day for the fact i mite not do well cos i scrwd up big time.

friday- I had to wake up at early cos I had class from 8am- 1.30pm STRAIGHT. It was our first day working as chefs in the restaurant and the recipes were all so confusing and new to us. Took us longer than we need to prep things up and therefore only 15 min break instead of 30 min.(not good) I had headache in between, + the teacher kept yelling at us and scolding us for being slow and doing mistakes. we were being graded for our performance and again I think I did badly zzzz. Thank goodness his not Ramsay or we die kao kao liao.

O ya, me and aaron decided to dye our hair 5 hours before our flight to melb lol. dyed at 1.30am

WAITAMINUTE?? wheres the cute happy feet that I was suppoed to go see?? apparently most of my time in Philip island was at the camp conference and had no time to go see the penguins so that kinda sucked. BUT nothing beats a box of 2 dozen Krispy Kreme!!!!!! KRISPY KREMEE!! Ting and Joyce you hear that???? hahahhahaha KRISYP KREMEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Off to Melbourne!!

Well its 2am right now and ill be at the airport at4am, dont think i'll be sleeping! OC 2007! here i come!!! It's gonna be awesome and I have high expectations there, blow my mind Big Guy =) Oh and I'll be in Philip Island for 3 days (Island of Happy Feet) then to the city in 2 days... I can't wait to see the 'Happy Feets!' huhu

Finally 20 =)

so i've finally turned 20. 20 long years. Can't believe what has happened and what I've been thru all these 20 years. anyway i'm 20 and i feel old now, my teenage years is over and I'm a young adult now. Time to move on and continue to Live for Him doing great things for Him when I'm here, to be a history maker.

Got a couple of bday cards, one of them said 'Jason although you have a 'bad' boy look but actually you're very sweet and kind' lol. One of the best gifts I got was a word of God during that day when I was doin my quiet time, awesome hey? I got 2 awesome CD's , one Armani cologne, and the best was last night when I spent the whole day with Aaron, Mel C, Mel, Alli, Suki and Nessie at surfers, shopping around and hanging out, eating, going to the beach, cam-whoring a lot =P and going to the night market doing this stupid puzzle games which is killing my brain cells #$%#, anyway Big thanks to them , appreciate what y'all have done and I enjoyed my day hehe. in fact one of my most memorable bady as most of my bday has been dull? haha. Thanks for the SMS and calls, you know who you are =) love y'all bits to pieces!

and i forgot to mention that I woke up at 6.30am DESPERATELY and i mean it, desperately needed to go to the loo and pee. then as i was on my way there. "Surprise!! Happy bday to you ..........singing' waaa that made me jump and i almost peed on my pants seriously. My crazy housemates wanted to wake me up from my sleep but they quickly hide when the door was open, and just surprised me on the way to the toilet =.= thx for the breakfast anyway. u all lucky i din curse u hahaha =p

lol before I celebrate my bday I would like to celebrate that I have reached 100 posts! woohooo! Wouldn't have thought I would reach a 100 posts seriously, back then I keep procrastinating not to blog and saying 'I quit bloggin' cos no one would wanna read it and i am just so lazy to blog lol. But a Big Thank You whoever reads it, thank you =) thank you for enduring the typos, the messy style of my writing and sometimes my bad vocab+grammar lol.

anywayyyyyy 2 more days and counting, I was at work yesteday and I my workmate gave me a present woot! My first one haha, guess what I got? She gave me a cologne I think? Armani Manla, first time I got a cologne, I dont really use cologne but I think its a way of her saying 'Jason u smelly smelly at work, heres a cologne ' haha thanks anyway Joy!

9 days countdown XD

wahahha 8 more days till my birthday weeee!!! im not so and at the same time looking forward to it, not that anything exciting is gonna happen but jus the curiosity on what might happen hehe. Few days ago was Aaron's birthday and what we did was we woke up early in the morning 6am with the cake stormed in his room and woke him up with a birthday song ahhaha. then forced him out of bed to have breakfast keke. I doubt they'll do the same thing to me so yeah we'll see. hmmm but then leh I got this from proverbs 27:14 'If u shout a pleasent greeting to your neighbour too early in the morning, it will be counted as a curse' lol . I guess its sayin they'll get ticked off cos u woke them ealry then they'll go @$%@*& =.=

what do I want for my birthday?? I came to realise that the stuffs guy wants are very expensive esp the big toys they want. here's my list

I was working today and then there were these three guys eating there.... turns out that one of the guys there (the old man) was very interested in asian cultures, he was staying in Indo for 7 years and he knows alot about malaysia, brunei, korea, japan you name it. But this guy freaked me out lol. '

We were having a little chit chat and he asked where was I from cos I had this american-ish accent, and he was interested in the fact that I was born in Brunei but having a malaysian passport and stayed in 3 diff places, then he asked what was I doing and I told him Hotel management, ok this is the part that freaked me out. He then said 'OH my BoyFriend is working in the casino, his an Indo.' when I heard him mentioned the word 'bf' i was shocked at first my eye grew big for 2 sec and I told myself 'calm down' maybe his just saying boyfren just like how girls call their good frens girlfren. I was wrong. My work almost ended and so I took off my work clothes cos it was hot and underneath was my Tees. That old guy noticed me and went 'wooo took off ur work clothes eh? sexayyyyy' .... -_____-"" i just smiled back lol. Then he gave me a couple of wink wink ewwww. I could sense he and his mate wanted to ask me to go out with them after my work, they asked me what was I gonna do tonight and why am I going back so early and not wanting to go disco lol. yea rite. oh and he gave me this weird handshake? I was shaking his hand and then he started pressing my hand real tight then relax it again, and press real tight and relax, vice versa. so weird la. kns.

yay! i dont know how to express my JOY that I have finally FINALLY FINALLY got the internet! took them 11 days to send the cd here so that we can use the internet bummer. anyhows if only there was a camera to record when we got the internet up and running me and Aaron were so happy that we were jumping for joy as if we were 5 year old kids who just got a new transformer toy haha. wont blog much cos there are tons of overdue pics to post. Finally everythings settled, most of my class starts at 9am and im takin Japanese, Hospitality marketing and Food and Beverate Production (cookin) this semester. Although its only 3 subjects i think its still a lot as my Jap is 20 credit therefore i have to study more. And I dont know how many times already in the restaurant or on the streets I have japanese ppl comin over to me and talk in jap thinking im jap and even commenting 'ooo you look like us'

oh yeah and here's the overdue formal pics. Went to the formal in november i think yeah. My boss daughter asked me to go with her since she needs some1 to go with and for some reason i said yes lo since its a formal and its v.important esp for the high schoolers (also who knows what mite happen if i reject it, my boss mite take the parang from the kitcen and chop my head) . The formal was way better than the one I had in JIS or INTI haha. There were literally people arriving at the formal with big foot, sports car, horse+cart, old cars and we came in with a limo not that great compared to others but still awesome.. A LIMO!! first time i sit in the limo le.. sakai me haha. The best part prob was the red carpet, the moment you step out of the limo there were lots of people there waving at you, saying hi, takin pictures... wa I feel like superstar lol. anyway nah heres a couple of the pic.

anyway what has been happening so far is that I've been arranging my new room, buying furnitures, food. Getting the boys ministry house going and working again haha. im so in need of cash right now as I've spent most on furnitures and food for the new house. My first day of work= 5 hours non-stop standing, walking and running up and down serving food and taking orders in a full house restaurant =.= sad yea and the pay is a measely $10 an hour =((

oh yeah my valentines day has been different than all my other years. This is something different. No I didnt spend V.Day wif anybody but what we (the boys in the church) did was that we cooked, made dinner, serenated the girls with music and decorated the place with candles and deco the candles in a heart shape. Yea it was hard work lol. and its different hey? Its the vday where we boys serve the ladies to show how we respect and honor them lol. Altough I would still prefer to spend my Vday with a special someone whoever that is XD I still got to wait for quite some time lol.

well its' 11th of Feb, 2007, on a sunday morning 1am++ and I just finished packing and i'm gonna go sleep soon. Well it's been fun spending my time here in Brunei for 2 months and a month in KL , what LONG holiday, i wonder if i shud do this again next hols lol. anyway Im sosososo gonna miss y'all back here! *sniff* its awesome that every time I come back I get to know new people, you know who you are =)

Tingaling - U lamo im so not gonna miss your lame jokes haha, crack me up, I hope the next time I come back u really cant walk HAHA. remember yea I play the guitar u the piano we gonna jam!!! and the next time i come back no more procrastinate and we need to properly catch up the time i come back not the day before I leaves LOL. Oh yeah Yui misses you too >=)

Joyce- My sensei , thx alot for teachin me the guitar, it really helped me alot and i'll remember your wise advice haha. oh and thx for being so patient =) you'll really make a good teacher haha. anyway its uni time and its one of the moments where you'll get stuck thinking 'I wanna do this' and ur parents said 'no u must do that'. Me and leonard have been thru this and let me tell you that we didnt have time to make such decisions before ,but you do ,so make use of this time and think of what u wanna do. continue to seek wisdom and trust the Lord =)

oh I played basketball today and yesterday... wasnt really in the good mood cos i sucked. well this is an overdued post too... Me, Bryant, Leonard, Melvin and Azai went to ISB for a b.ball match turns out that last minute they canceled the match, sien =x anyway no match then we just played a friendly 3v3 game and then met up wif yenyin being our tourguide around ISB haha. anyway after basketball surely get hungry la so we went to Tak Kak Luk at teguh raya there eat LAKSA!!! <3 , i dont know but it isnt the best nor its bad, it has its own unique taste i guess so hey i recommend u go try their laksa there not bad. very nice. After laksa leh, we were sitill hungry and Jollybee was around the next block so we decided to go Jollybee makan. damn full damn nice the food haha. You know the Jollybee mascot that always hangs out outside (or inside) the restaurant? haha well me and my mates decided to do sumtin with Jollybee cos we love him/her so much! some jackass just torturin poor jollybee =(

so the gala nights over and well it was pretty awesome, the dances went well, elvis presley of Malaysia, HT Long was awesome as well. According to the guests everything went smoothly and was great but to us backstage crew at the back was a different story. We got shouted at because we messed part of the event cos' ALL the batteries in the walkie-talkie died and communication was hard as we had to run up and down from the backstage to the front. so we had to delay some stuffs. Whats worse I screwed up the 'sway' dance I was in. I took one step ahead of all of them and was kinda embarassed when I started to move while everyone was still stationary -___- At least I asked the audience and they said they didn't notice any mistakes, so that was abig PHEW. As I said the guests commented that everything went smoothly so the nite was great to them but for us backstage crew it was like a nightmare =x

At first when wani told me to meet her there I was like 'Whats this cacat place lol' But u know what? the food was awesome! very spicy and thai authentic like, not only that the drinks were probably the highlight. Order a $2 orange juice regular size but you get a LARGE cup and i mean LARGE> reminds me of the hawker and mamak stalls that has that in KL haha. anyway would you believe it? ALL MY YEARS in Brunei NO ONE NOT A SINGLE PERSON has actually recommended me to go to that place to eat. I mean come on!!! I LIKED IT THERE! (Leonard does to) why why nobody has ever told me theres this kinda place in Brunei with Good food???? aduh i feel so sakai in my 19 years in Brunei I have never heard or been there. why o why??? went to the mall after that, they forced me to play the para para game, and I was reluctant but after seeing some people dancing the free-style mode i was like 'man, tats not para para just waving ur hands like and idiot' the REAL PARA PARA is where you DANCE to it hahaha. And I did dance la and apparently I was laughed at when i was err shakin here and there =.= oh yes and leonard and wani were being cheeky taking a video of me dancing it -_____-""

let's see woke up at 11.15 ish then i was like crap, im gonna be late for lunch. Rushed to Thien mi mi for lunch wif Banana and when I went in I was like 'Okay i didnt see her walkin outside and shes not in the restaurant i must be early and she must be late' WRONG! I heard someone called 'Jason' and turned out that Banana was already there sitting down eatin her noodles+drinks and I mean eating so fast haha =.=

then leh after having lunch wif Banana had to go meet leonard up in kiulap cos he has to buy some pc stuffs, then his mum was there and was hungry so brought us to GUESS WHERE??? YES!! THIEN MI MI!! WOOOO (again)ate at 3pm. i think i'm gonna stop goin to thien mi mi forawhile

lets see after that went to pick angie up for dance practice and i cant wait for tomorrow's gala night! its gonna be awesome! the dance is all ready + H.T long, the elvis presly of Malaysia is coming to play for us hoho. i heard him sang before already and man really sounded like elvis.

anyway cos of practice it was so late that I had to err had quick dinner (maggie mee+eggs) because had to rush for service. after service was over everyone was still hungry so went to mamih makan nasi lemak, leonard mum belanja again haha so yeah todays day all based on eating eating only

Sweet sixteen is gone and now you're seventeen one more year to go till you're eighteen and you're getting older each day ahah XD It has been great knowning you and a blessing to know you! I appreciate our friendship and although i guess its once a year we can see each other n i'll surely miss your presence but i'll never forget our silly whacky chats lol. Keep burning for JC and cont to grow in Him. study hard and as always.......... Stay lame you lamo hahaha.


On another note i watched Night in the museum the other day and the movie was so hilarious although i think it was meant for kids to watch but heck i enjoyed it. anyone noticed the microphone from the set on top of the screen? haha. ooops movie mistakes and what cracked me up was the stupid malay subtitles... there was one part of the movie that went 'OKAY PEOPLE!!! ( meaning the things in the musuem) and the subtitle was 'OK MANUSIA!!' HAHAHAHA i just felt like stranggling the person who did the subtitle... aduh.
